TD Pokemon Battle Tournament Season 2 - Part 3

**Round 1, Part 3**

So while everyone else was at the Pokémon Center getting their Pokémon looked at, Cameron and Dawn were in out back near the woods where Dawn was helping Cameron reconnect with himself.

Cameron: “Okay Dawn, so what exactly did you have in mind?”

(Sees Dawn sitting on top a rock meditating)

Cameron: “Are you sure about this Dawn? Because I’m still not sure…”

Dawn: “Shh, the first step to find yourself you must be at piece with surrounding. Now meditate with me.”

Cameron: “Um okay?”

So Cameron sat beside Dawn on the ground, crossed his legs, closed his eyes and began to meditate.

Dawn: “How do you feel?”

Cameron: “Okay I guess?

Dawn: “Splendid, now breathe in and out.”

(Cameron breathes in and out)

Dawn: “You have a good soul Cameron and your aura is pure.”

Cameron: “Gee thanks Dawn, no one’s ever said that to me before?”

Dawn: “Shh, don’t speak.”

Cameron: “Oh sorry.”

So the 2 of them continued to meditate, unaware that Scott was spying on them. He wasn’t sure what they were up to, but he thought if they were forming an alliance he wasn’t going to let it happen.

Pretty soon it was time for HIS match against B, the 2 of them entered the arena with B facing right and Scott facing left.

Chris McLean: “Welcome back! I hope you’re all ready for excitement, because our next match is between B the Silent Guy and the Sleazy Scoundrel Scott.”

(The audience boos at Scott)

Anne Maria: “I hope B crushes that creep.”

Jo: “For once I agree with you.”

Brick: “You got this soldier! You know what they say, “Silent but Deadly!”

(Everyone looks at Brick in confusion)

Brick: “Well he doesn’t talk, what else could I say?”

Chris McLean: “Trainers throw out your Pokémon!”

(B adjusted his hat and threw out Exeggutor)

Scott: “Time to show Beverly who the real master is. Now Mightyena lets go!”

(Mightyena appears)

Mike: “Uh-oh this looks bad?”

Cameron: “Yeah, Dark Type moves have an advantage against a Psychic Type like Exeggutor.”

Zoey: “Maybe. But let’s just see.”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Scott: “Now Mightyena use Shadow Ball!”

(Mightyena fires a ball of dark energy from its mouth)

But B didn’t say anything, he just looked at Exeggutor and it fired a Hyper Beam that destroyed Shadow Ball.

Scott: “Huh?”

Chris McLean: “What? B didn’t even say anything? And yet Exeggutor fired a Hyper Beam?”

Jo: “But… How did he do that? He didn’t even speak?”

Dawn: “He doesn’t need to, his Pokémon understand him very well.”

Sam: “Yeah, this is going to be one confusing match.”

Just then Exeggutor used Egg Bomb and fired multiple glowing eggs at Mightyena, but Scott wasn’t going down so easily.

Scott: “Mightyena, get out of there and use Hidden Power!”

Mightyena then fired its special attack right into Exeggutor’s chest.

Chris McLean: “Oh that’s got to hurt?”

Scott: “Now use Ice Fang!”

Mightyena jumped onto Exeggutor and using Ice Fang bit its frozen fangs into Exeggutor’s body.

Zoey: “Oh no!”

Mike: “This looks bad?”

Scott: “Perfect. Now keep holding on!”

Mightyena’s bite soon began to spread over most of Exeggutor’s body, causing it to freeze. Just then Mightyena let go when Scott shouted…

Scott: “Use Hidden Power again!”

Mightyena fired Hidden Power once more, which ended the battle.

Chef Hatchet: “Exeggutor is unable to battle, Mightyena wins! Which means victory goes to Scott!”

(The audience boos)

Chris McLean: “Oh too bad folks, but hey on the bright side things get more interesting come Round 2 am I right?”

(The audience boos some more)

Jo: “Well that figures.”

Dawn: “Who could have foreseen this?”

Dakota: “Not that its any of my business, but isn’t our match up next?”

Dawn: “Oh that’s right, how could I forget?”

Chris McLean: “Okay folks don’t go anywhere, because our next match begins very shortly.”

Jose: “Which will put me one more match away from mine. They may as well just give me the million dollars now. There’s no way any of you stand a chance.”

(Everyone angrily glares at Jose)

Jose: “What?”

Some time later Dawn and Dakota’s match was ready to begin. Dawn was facing right and Dakota was facing left.

Chris McLean: “Welcome back! This match is between the Dawn the Moonchild and Billionaire heiress Dakota! This should be interesting?”

Sam: “Go Dakota! You’re my girl!”

Zoey: “Like I said before, I don’t know which one of them I should be rooting for?”

Mike: “Me neither? I guess we’ll have to just wait and see?”

Cameron: (Thinking to himself) “I sure hope Dawn wins? Wait why did I just think that?”

Dawn: “This is for all out Pokémon friends. (Kisses her Pokeball) Come Lucario!”

(Lucario appears)

Dakota: “Its Dakota Time! Lopunny spotlight!”

(Lopunny appears)

Zoey: “So its Lucario vs. Lopunny?”

Mike: “Even though Fighting Types like Lucario have the advantage of Normal Types, I think Lopunny can use other attacks right Cam? Cam?”

(Cam was just frozen while looking at Dawn)

Cameron: “Oh sorry, did you say something?”

Mike: “Uh… Never mind.”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Dakota: “Lopunny use High-Jump Kick!”

Lopunny jumped into the air ready to kick, but Dawn quickly shouted…

Dawn: “Lucario block it!”

Lucario held up its arms and crossed them, deflecting the attack.

Dawn: “Now use Aura Sphere!”

Lucario then generated a ball of aura then fired it at Lopunny.

Brick: “Whoa, nice shot Dawn.”

Dawn: “Sorry about that little one, you have my condolences! Now Lucario use Bone Rush!”

Lucario the generated a long glowing bone and swung it at Lopunny, but Lopunny dodged it then Dakota followed up with Baby-Doll Eyes. And when Lucario saw it make those big button eyes it couldn’t bare to attack it.

Dawn: “Aw, how cute are you.”

Zoey: “Aw, what move is that?”

Sam: “I think that’s Baby-Doll Eyes?”

Staci: “Uh, what does that move do?”

Dakota: “Now use High-Jump Kick again!”

Lopunny took advantage of the opportunity and kicked Lucario in the jaw.

(Dawn gasps)

Chris McLean: “Whoa, that was a sneaky move there and I liked it!”

Staci: “Oh so that’s what it does!”

Dawn: “Forgive me little one, now Lucario use Metal Sound!”

Lucario then let out a powerful ear piercing sound that seemed to subdue Lopunny. Then Dawn ordered it to use Power-Up Punch, so Lucario right paw generated a powerful force of energy, much to everyone’s amazement.

Jo: “What the?”

Zoey: “What move is that?”

Sam: “That’s Power-Up Punch. It’s one of Lucario’s special moves, it also does serious damage.”

Dakota: “Uh-oh!”

(Lopunny looks scared)

Dawn: “Now Lucario!”

(Lucario charges)

Dakota: “Quick use Mirror Coat!”

(Lopunny creates a protective barrier around its body)

When Power-Up Punch hit, Lucario gave all it got to break through Mirror Coat. Lopunny tried to hang in, but it couldn’t hold out much longer.

Chris McLean: “Now this is what I call excitement, the suspense is killing me, who’s gonna win?!”

The audience and other competitors were all in suspense, they didn’t know what to think and Cameron began to hyperventilate. When all of a sudden there was a big explosion and just as the dust cleared, Lucario was left barely standing and Lopunny was out cold.

Chef Hatchet: “Lopunny is unable to battle, Lucario wins which means victory goes to Dawn!”

(The audience cheers)

Dawn: “I won? I won! Oh glorious day! Though it still feels bitter sweet?”

Dakota: “Sigh, oh well I guess that’s it? Return Lopunny. (Recalls Lopunny) You did your best, that’s all you could do.”

Sam: “So Dakota lost?”

Mike: “Look on the bright side, she gets to watch YOU battle.”

Sam: “Oh yeah, good point.”

Mike: “What do you think Cam? Cam?”

But all Cam could look at was Dawn, as he could only see her as if she was glowing; with her long light-blonde hair, her beautiful eyes and the way she looked like an elf.

Mike and Sam: “CAM!”

Cameron: “Huh? What? Oh sorry guys did you say something?”

Sam: “Are you alright man?”

Cameron: “Uh, yeah I’m - I’m fine.”

Mike: “Are you sure, because you’ve been acting kind of strange ever since we got back from break?”

Cameron: “Oh sorry guys, you see Dawn was just helping me get ready for my match with Jose.”

Sam: “Wait, you were hanging out with Dawn?”

Mike: “Well that was nice that she was helping you, because your match with Jose is up next.”

Cameron: “Oh… Wait WHAT?!”

Chris McLean: “Okay folks, coming up next the match you’ve all been waiting for; Cameron vs. Jose!”

(Jose looks at Cameron and does the “You’re Dead” signal by running his figure past his neck)

(Cameron gulps)

So it was time for the battle to determine which competitor would be moving on to Round 2 and which one wouldn’t. Cameron was facing left and Jose was facing right.

Chris McLean: “Welcome to the final battle of Round one! Which one of these competitors will be moving on to Round 2? Pretty boy Jose or Bubble Boy Cameron?”

Zoey: “Oh Mike I’m really worried for Cameron.”

Mike: “I know, but come on if he can beat Lightning I’m sure he can handle Jose?”

Lightning: “Yo I’m right here next to ya’ll. Besides that was a full on Pokémon battle, this is one on one.”

Jo: “As much as I hate to agree with muscle boy, he’s right. If 4 Eyes, loses this match he’s out of the game.”

Mike: “Oh yeah.”

Jose: “Now to show these people what Jose is truly made of. Now Magmortar take the stage!”

(Magmortar appears)

Zoey: “Whoa, what Pokémon is that?” (Checks her Pokedex)

Pokedex: “Magmortar, the Blast Pokémon and the evolved form of Magmar. It launches fireballs that can reach temperatures over three-thousand six-hundred degrees from the ends of its arms and lives in volcanic craters.”

Zoey: “Gee, I wonder what Pokémon Cameron should use?”

Cameron: (Thinking to himself) “Hmm, Magmortar’s a Fire Type with some serious strength. Lombre would be a too easy choice, Slowbro might be a good choice?” (Out loud) “Wait I know! (Takes out a Pokeball) Sudowoodo let’s go!”

(Sudowoodo appears)
