Total Drama Pokemon Battle Tournament - Part 11

**Round 3, Part 2**

Later that afternoon at the Pokémon Center, Alejandro and Tyler had just got their Pokémon looked and handed back.

Nurse Joy: “Okay, all your Pokémon are all taken care of. And I must say the 2 of you really put them through a lot today.”

Alejandro: “What can we say? I guess we’re both pretty competitive? Bet luck next time old chum.”

Tyler: “What ev’ at least Lindsay’s still in the game, so I can root for her.”

Alejandro: “No offense, but while Lindsay is quite a catch she’s not exactly the sharpest tool in the shed.”

Tyler: “Hey!”

Alejandro: “Now don’t take it the wrong way, you two are perfect for each other considering you’re not too bright yourself.”

Tyler: “Oh yeah prove it? (Looks down) Hey nickel!” (Picks it up)

Alejandro: “That’s a dime.”

Tyler: “Oh yeah.”

Meanwhile, Beth and Lindsay were in the sitting area talking to each other.

Lindsay: “I am so excited to make this far!”

Beth: “I know you’ll do great Lindsay. You just might even win.”

Heather: “Oh please, what makes you think she has any chance of winning?”

Lindsay: “Well I’ve been lucky so far?”

Beth: “Yeah, her Panpour even evolved.”

Heather: “Well yeah, but you only have Water Pokémon. And you can’t expect to get anywhere with only Water Types.”

Lindsay: “Alejandro made this far with only Fire Types?”

Heather: “Well yeah, but that’s different. The point is your chances of winning are always going to be slim.”

Beth: “What are you talking about?”

Heather: “Well let’s see… Not counting your elimination from season 1, you carelessly voted yourself off in season 2, you proved that you suck at designing fashion witch got you eliminated in season 3 and season 5 you once again managed to vote yourself off.”

Gwen: “That still doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a chance.”

Heather: “Whatever, I look forward to crushing you come tomorrow.”

Gwen: “Hmm, funny I was just about to say the same thing about you.”

Heather: “Whatever.” (Heather leaves)

Beth: “I think you have a better chance of beating her than she does of beating you.”

Gwen: “Thanks.”

Trent: “Hey Gwen!” (Walks over to her)

Gwen: (Nervous) “Oh, hey.”

Beth: “Uh, I think I need to go? Come on Lindsay.”

Lindsay: “Okay, where are we going?”

(Beth and Lindsay leave)

Gwen: “So uh, you wanted to ask me something?”

Trent: “Oh yeah, well… Um… You see… I was thinking.”

Gwen: “Yeah?”

Trent: “I was wondering…”

Katie and Sadie: “Hey Trent!”

Before Trent had a chance to say anything Katie and Sadie interrupted him to tell him how great he is and all that? Gwen feeling a conflicted just backed up and left.

Meanwhile, Lindsay and Beth were talking about Lindsay’s match and how she was nervous.

Lindsay: “I don’t know Beth, I mean what if Heather’s right?”

Beth: “If there’s one thing I know it’s to not listen to Heather.”

Lindsay: “Well yeah, but I don’t know?”

Tyler: (Appears out of nowhere) “Oh come on Lindsay don’t be like that. Besides I’ve shown you a couple of tricks remember?”

Lindsay: “Oh right, you’re so sweet.”

Tyler: “Thanks babe.”

Beth: “Hey we’d better get over there, you’re match with Trent begins in just a few minutes Lindsay.”

Lindsay: “Oh yeah, (to Tyler) how about a little good luck kiss?”

(Tyler kisses Lindsay’s cheek causing her cheeks to turn red as she giggles)

Soon once everyone got over to the arena, it was time for Lindsay and Trent’s match and everyone was pumped up.

Chris McLean: “Welcome back, I hope you’re all ready for things to awesome? Because this match is sure to be full of surprises! And I can assure you there’s no fan favorite here.”

Beth: “You can do it Lindsay!”

Tyler: “You got this babe!”

Sadie: “Go Team Trent!”

Katie: “He is SO cute!”

(Gwen smiles at Trent with admiration in her eyes)

On the battlefield Trent was facing right and Lindsay was facing left and they were both ready to win, when Chris said…

Chris McLean: “Trainers, throw out your Pokémon!”

Trent: “Alright, Kingler come on out!”

(Kingler appears)

Lindsay: “Okay, here goes nothing. Pelipper come on out!”

(Pelipper appears)

Izzy: “Oh this is gonna be good!”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Alright Kingler use Bubble Beam!”

Kingler them began to shoot bright and super strong bubbles from its mouth, but Lindsay quickly ordered Pelipper to dodge and so it did. The she shouted…

Lindsay: “Now use Water Gun!”

So Pelipper shot out a blast of water from its mouth towards Kingler, but Trent then commanded…

Trent: “Use Harden!”

So Kingler then hardened its body so that when Water Gun hit it had no effect.

Beth: “Whoa, Kingler didn’t even move.”

Owen: “That IS a pretty strong defense.”

Trent: “Now Kingler use Bubble!”

Kingler then shot out a mess of bubbles from its mouth right at Pelipper and then it followed up with Crab Hammer and knocked Pelipper right out of the air as it hit the ground.

Chef Hatchet: “Pelipper is unable to battle, Kingler wins!”

Bridgette: “Whoa, Pelipper only got to attack once?”

Cody: “Trent’s definitely trained Kingler well.”

DJ: “For real.”

Lindsay: “Pelipper return. (Lindsay recalls Pelipper) Wow, this could be tougher than I thought?”

Beth: “You can still do it Lindsay!”

Tyler: “WE still believe in you!”

Lindsay: “Thanks you guys! Okay, now Vaporeon come on out!”

(Vaporeon Appears)

Sadie: “OMG her Vaporeon is so pretty!”

Katie: “It is SO pretty!”

Heather: “Oh Pe-Lease! It’s going to take more than that if she wants to win.”

Chris McLean: “Heads up folks, did I forget to mention to make things interesting we’ve made some adjustments to the battlefield.”

Trent: “Adjustments?”

Suddenly the field changed to a landscape similar to that of the second battlefield where Ash had his final Hoenn Gym Battle against Juan. With land AND water.

Duncan: “Well this should be interesting.”

DJ: “You got that right.”

(Gwen looks a bit worried for Trent)

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Okay Kingler use Bubble Beam!”

So Kingler fired a bunch of bubbles (different than its previous bubble attack) at Vapoureon, but Lindsay quickly had Vaporeon dodge and dive into the water.

Lindsay: “Okay Vaporeon use Acid Armor!”

So Vaporeon’s body immediately and completely vanished into the water.

Owen: “Hey where’d it go?”

Harold: “Its using Acid Armor!”

Ezekiel: “What’s that eh?”

Harold: “It’s a special move where Vaporeon can completely disappear in water.”

LeShawna: “Baby you always know what to say.”

(Harold blushes)

Trent: “Oh man, where’d it go?”

(Kingler looks confused)

Just then Lindsay shouted…

Lindsay: “Use Hydro Pump!”

Suddenly Vaporeon burst out of the water firing a blast of water right into Kingler’s face.

Chris: “Whoa, now that was a mighty clever sneak attack by Lindsay!”

Tyler: “Yeah, that’s my girl!”

Lindsay: “Now Vaporeon use Tackle!”

As Vaporeon charged at Kingler Trent quickly had it use Crabhammer, but before it hit Vaporeon leaped into the air then followed up with Aurora Beam. Once it hit, Kingler was out cold.

Chef Hatchet: “Kingler is unable to battle, Vaporeon wins!”

Lindsay: “Yay!”

Beth: “Go Lindsay!”

Heather: “Big deal, besides Trent has a lot more Pokémon that have a better advantage. This is just a fluke.”

Trent: “Return Kingler, (Kingler returns) you take a nice long rest. While I use next best bet. Alright let’s go Alakazam!”

(Alakazam appears)

Courtney: “Smart choice using a Psychic type.”

Gwen: “Yeah… I mean sure I guess.”

Courtney: (Thinking to herself) “Wow, now I this really how SHE felt when I wouldn’t forgive her back then?”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Lindsay: “Okay Vaporeon use Water Gun!”

(Vaporeon shoots out a blast of water from its mouth)

Trent: “Now Alakazam use Confusion!”

Alakazam then used its psychic powers to redirect the water from hitting it and caused it to hit Vaporeon instead.

Chris: “Oh big mistake folks and if you ask me Psychic Pokémon are the hardest to beat.”

Beth: “Uh-oh, Lindsay could be in trouble?”

Trent: “Okay now use Psycho Cut!”

Alakazam then rushed in and waved its arms and used Psycho Cut on Vaporeon knocking it to the ground, thus ending the battle.

Chef Hatchet: “Vaporeon is unable to battle, Alakazam wins!”

Chris: “Whoa, how DO you like that? Folks at this rate Trent just might win this?”

Gwen: “Yeah! I mean wow.”

Lindsay recalled Vaporeon to its Pokeball, but now she didn’t know what to do. She may not know a lot of things, but she did know one thing and that was Psychic Type Pokémon were usually the hardest to beat. That’s when she had an idea.

Chef Hatchet: “Hey you gonna choose another Pokémon or what?!”

Lindsay: “Yes I am, now Simipour come on out!”

(Simipour appears)

Bridgette: “I sure hope Lindsay has plan?”

Eva: “You kidding? I’ve seen dodge balls sharper than her.”

Trent: “Don’t worry Alakazam, we got this in the bag!”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Okay now use Psybeam!”

So Alakazam fired 2 rainbow-like blasts from its 2 spoons that briefly stunned Simipour. Then Trent had it follow up with Fire Punch as it swung its fist towards Simipour, but it quickly countered it with Aqua Tail.

Beth: “Nice counter attack.”

Heather: “Maybe, its going to take more that for Lindsay to beat Trent.”

Trent: “Now Alakazam use Zap Cannon!”

Alakazam then generated a ball of electricity from its spoons and shot it towards Simipour, but Simipour dodged then followed up with Astonish. As it projected a terrifying ghost face of itself at Alakazam.

(Alakazam looks stunned)

Trent: “Whoa!”

Courtney: “What, how did it do that?”

Tyler: “I showed her.”

Owen: “YOU showed her that?”

Cody: “But none of your Pokémon…”

Tyler: “I have my ways.”

Chris McLean: “How do you like that folks! Simipour now has Alakazam paralyzed with fear.”

So Lindsay took advantage of the opportunity and quickly shouted…

Lindsay: “Okay Simipour now use Scald!”

So Simipour shot out a powerful blast of boiling water that hit Alakazam right in the face.

Chris McLean: “Oh that’s got to hurt! But hey, I do love a good sneak attack.”

Beth: “Go Lindsay!”

Izzy: “Yeah she’s awesome!”

Trent: “Okay Alakazam use Recover!”

And just like that Alakazam was completely healed from Scald.

Izzy: “Oh yeah, I forgot about that.”

Trent: “Alright now use Zen Headbutt!”

Alakazam then charged its body glowing towards Simipour when Lindsay shouted…

Lindsay: “Counter with Aqua Jet!”

So Simipour charged back, only with ITS body covered with water as the 2 of them were clashing head to head as they were evenly matched. But Trent just kept telling Alakazam to keep going and give it everything it had.

Lindsay was beginning to sweat as she was very nervous and didn’t know what to do. But she knew Tyler was watching her and she knew she could do it, so she shouted out…

Lindsay: “Use Nasty Plot!”

By using Nasty Plot at the same time as Aqua Jet, while Zen Headbutt was still in affect caused one heck of a reaction. When the smoke cleared both Pokémon were down for the count.

Chef Hatchet: “Both Pokémon are unable to battle, it’s a draw!”

Geoff: “Whoa, now THAT was epic.”

DJ: “Yeah, but now Lindsay’s down to just 3 Pokémon and Trent’s still got 4.”

Noah: “Yep, game over.”

Chris McLean: “Oh tough break folks and with Lindsay with only 3 Pokémon left I think Trent might have this match in the bag?”

So they both recalled their Pokémon, but Lindsay wasn’t about to back down. She had come so close and she wasn’t about to give up, because this time she wanted to win.

Trent: “Okay, now Shuckle let’s go!”

(Shuckle appears)

Lindsay: “Hmm, oh I know! Okay, Marill come on out!

(Marill appears)

Cody: “So Trent’s using Shuckle?”

Sierra: “But don’t Rock Types have a disadvantage against Water Types?”

Harold: “Yes, Shuckle’s also Bug Type, so there’s no clear answer in this case.”

Gwen: (Smiling at Trent) “Cool.”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Now Shuckle use Sticky Web!”

So Shuckle shot out a strand of webbing from its mouth towards Marill, but Lindsay quickly had it dodge and retreat to the water.

Owen: “Marill went into the water, but Shuckle can’t go in after it.”

Sierra: “Obviously, Rock Types don’t like to get wet. Even if they’re also Bug Types as well.”

Lindsay: “Now Marill use Surf!”

Marill then jumped out of the water riding a giant wave that was just about to hit Shuckle when Trent quickly shouted…

Trent: “Use Safeguard!”

Just was the wave hit everyone thought Shuckle was done for, but then they could see it was protected by a force field.

Chris McLean: “Whoa, I’ll admit I did NOT see that coming folks!”

Gwen: “Yeah! Woo!”

Alejandro: “You know if I didn’t know any better I’d say you’re really happy for Trent?”

Gwen: “Uh, yeah well you know we’re friends obviously.”

Alejandro: “Right, “friends” I got you no problem.”

Gwen: (Looks unsure) “Yeah?”

Trent: “Alright Shuckle now use Rollout!”

So Shuckle tucked its head into it’s shell and spun its body towards Marill, cutting it off guard.

Geoff: “Oh that’s got to hurt?”

But Marill got right back up.

Lindsay: “Okay Marill now use Attract!”

So since Lindsay’s Marill was female she used her special attack, which made Shuckle fall hopelessly in love with her.

Trent: “Oh no!”

Beth: “Whoa, I totally forgot about that.”

Izzy: “Oh this is going to be good.”

Lindsay: “Now Marill use Bubble Beam!”

(Marill shoots out a stream of bubbles from its mouth hitting directly at Shuckle, but it was still under the effect of Attract so it couldn’t do anything.)

Trent: “Shuckle snap out of it!”

(Shuckle still under effect)

Lindsay: “Now use Double-Edge!”

(Marill charges super fast at Shuckle, ramming it into a rock thus ending the battle)

Chef Hatchet: “Shuckle is unable to battle, Marill wins!”

Tyler: “Yeah, that’s my girl!”

(The audience cheers)

Justin: “I must admit she’s not bad.”

LeShawna: “You got that right, home girl got moves and she knows how to use them.”

(Trent recalls Shuckle to its Pokeball)

Trent: “Good job Shuckle, you deserve a nice long rest. (Takes out another Pokeball) Okay now let’s do this, come on Chatot!”

(Chatot appears)

Heather: “Seriously, that’s his next choice?”

Gwen: “For your information Trent’s Chatot is stronger than it looks.”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Lindsay: “Okay, Marill use Water Gun!”

So Marill shot out a shot of water from its mouth that almost hit Chatot, but Trent quickly had it dodge.

Trent: “Now use Mimic!”

Just then Chatot fired a Water Gun just like Marill did, only Chatot did if from the air and THIS time it hit.

Lindsay: “Gasp!”

Owen: “Whoa! He-he, now THAT was cool!”

Trent: “Okay Chatot use Double Slap!”

So Chatot began slapping Marill repeatedly, until Lindsay shouted…

Lindsay: “Use Hydro Pump!”

(Marill shoots a powerful force of water at Chatot, causing it to crash into a rock)

DJ: “Oh that’s gotta hurt.”

Lindsay: “Now use Attract again!”

So Marill used Attract again and poor Chatot was another victim of Marill’s Attraction.

Courtney: “Yeah saw that coming.”

Lindsay: “Now Marill use Aqua Jet!”

So Marill charged its water covered body at Chatot and rammed right into its body ending the battle.

Chef Hatchet: “Chatot is unable to battle, Marill wins!”

Chris McLean: “Whoa, now this is getting even more interesting folks. Don’t cross your fingers, but we might already have our winner!”

Tyler: “Yeah! Now that’s my girl! You go Lindsay!”

(Trent returns Chatot to its Pokeball then looks up and sees Gwen smiling and waving at him and he waves back feeling confident as he takes out another Pokeball.)

Trent: “Okay, its up to you now old friend. Let’s go Torterra!”

(Torterra appears)

Lindsay: “Uh-oh.”

Beth: “Grass Types have an advantage against Water Types, which means Lindsay could be in trouble?”

Duncan: “Oh this should be good. Am I right?” (Nudges Courtney’s shoulder)

Courtney: “Uh, could you not touch or talk to me right now.”

(The 2 of them turn away from each other)

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Lindsay: “Okay Marill use Bubble Beam!”

So Marill began to fire a stream of bubbles at Torterra, but Trent quickly shouted…

Trent: Use Leaf Storm!”

Torterra then created a storm of leaves that surrounded its body that protected it from Bubble Beam.

Trent: “Now fire!”

So Torterra fired its Leaf Storm right at Marill causing it to get caught in it with no way to escape.

Lindsay: “Oh no!”

Chris McLean: “Uh-oh folks, looks like Marill’s in trouble!”

Trent: “Now use Energy Ball!”

So Torterra fired a ball of energy right at Marill as it was caught in the Leaf Storm, which resulted in a big BOOM!

(Marill was unconscious)

Chef Hatchet: “Marill is unable to battle, Torterra wins!”

Katie and Sadie: “Woo-hoo! Yay!”

Chris McLean: “Yeah that figures folks, but hey with how things going the way they are I wouldn’t be surprised to see who wins THIS match.”

(Lindsay recalls Marill to its Pokeball)

Lindsay: (To herself) “Okay Lindsay, you can do this. You’ve come this far and have lost too much, its time to prove to everyone that there’s more to you than people give you for. (Looks at Tyler and Beth and sees them smiling at her as she smiles back) Okay, now Sealeo come on out!”

(Sealeo appears)

Trent: “Hmm, Sealeo’s a Water and Ice Type so… Torterra return! (Trent Recalls Torterra to its Pokeball) Okay Marowak come on out!”

(Marowak appears)

Courtney: “What? Why’s he using a Ground Type? They’re weak against Water Types!”

Geoff: “Boy whatever Trent has planned I sure hope he knows what he’s doing?”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Lindsay: “Okay Sealeo use Ice Beam!”

(Sealeo fires an Ice Beam from its mouth)

Trent: “Dodge it!”

(Marowak dodges)

Trent: “Now use Bonemerang!”

So Marowak threw it’s bone club like a boomerang and hit Sealeo right in the head.

Owen: “Oh, that’s gonna leave a mark.”

Lindsay: “Sealeo are you alright?”

Sealeo: “Sealeo!”

Lindsay: “Okay now use Blizzard!”

So Sealeo shot a powerful wave of snow and cold air that caused Marowak to shiver.

Izzy: “Bur, that’s cold I can even feel it from over here.”

Noah: “Maybe that’s what happens when you wear nothing but a swimsuit and towel 24/7?”

Izzy: “Oh yeah, my bad.”

Trent: “Oh man this is not good, unless? Marowak hang in there and try and use Iron Head!”

So Marowak managed to charge threw the cold air, with it’s head super hardened ramming it right into Sealeo.

Lindsay: “Oh no!”

Trent: “Okay, now Marowak use Focus Energy!”

So Marowak shot out an even more powerful energy right at Sealeo knocking it into the water, but when it resurfaced it was unable to battle.

Chef Hatchet: “Sealeo is unable to battle, Marowak wins!”

Trent: “All right!”

Beth: “Wow, that was pretty good?”

Cody: “Yeah and now Lindsay only has one Pokémon left.”

Tyler: “Yeah, but just wait till you see it.”

(Lindsay recalls Sealeo to its Pokeball and takes out her last one)

Lindsay: “Okay, its all up to you now. Let’s give it our all. Lumineon spotlight!”

(Lumineon appears)

Bridgette: “Wow I forgot just how beautiful Lumineon is.”

Beth: “I just hope it’s enough for Lindsay to win?”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Okay Marowak use Focus Energy again!”

But just Marowak shot another attack, but this time in the water Lindsay shouted…

Lindsay: “Use charm!”

Suddenly Lumineon put on a look that made Marowak stop before it could attack.

Trent: “What the?”

Owen: “Hey why’d it stop?”

Sierra: “Gasp, its using Charm! That’s a move when a Pokémon has absolutely no control of itself.”

Lindsay: “Now lure it in!”

So Lumineon began to lure Marowak in, when suddenly… SPLASH! It fell right into the water; unable to swim it was helpless.

Trent: “Oh no!”

Lindsay: “Okay Lumineon use Whirlpool!”

So Lumineon began to swim circles around Marowak until it created a massive whirlpool that caught Marowak inside which ended up sending it flying. Once it hit the ground it was unable to battle.

Chef Hatchet: “Marowak is unable to battle, Lumineon wins!”

Chris McLean: “Whoa, I am not going to lie folks I knew Marowak was at a disadvantage, but I didn’t expect Lindsay’s little surprise there!”

Heather: “What? But, how did she?”

Tyler: “Yep, that’s my girlfriend for you.”

Gwen: “Trent’s only got one Pokémon left. I sure hope he can make due?”

(Trent recalls Marowak to its Pokeball)

Trent: “Okay Torterra, its all up to you now. So come back out!”

(Torterra reappears)

Chris McLean: “Okay folks, this one’s for all the marbles. Who ever wins this match moves on to the semi-finales! Who will it be? Music Man Trent or Lindsay, our most hottest competitor!”

Heather: “Oh brother!”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Torterra use Energy Ball!”

(Torterra fires a ball of energy)

Lindsay: “Now Lumineon use Safeguard!”

(A green glow covers Lumineon’s body)

But when Energy Ball hit it made a big splash that knocked Lumineon out of the water, fortunately Safeguard still protected it.

Trent: “Now use Razor Leaf!”

(Torterra began to fire razor sharp boomerang leaves)

Luckily Lumineon was able to use the water to its advantage, until…

Trent: “Use Frenzy Plant!”

Suddenly a bunch of giant spiky roots burst out of the water and caught Lumineon in it.

Lindsay: “Lumineon!”

Beth: “Oh no!”

Chris McLean: “Uh-oh, this might be it? I sure don’t see anyway Lumineon can get out of this?”

Lindsay didn’t know what to do, but then she had an idea that she knew would work.

Lindsay: “Lumineon use Sweet Kiss!”

So Lumineon blew a kiss to Torterra, which immediately paralyzed Torterra. Causing it to release Lumineon from Frenzy Plant.

Sadie: “Hey, what’s wrong with Torterra?”

Katie: “It looks like it’s paralyzed?”

Trent: “Hey Torterra snap out of it!”

Suddenly Torterra began beating itself up by banging its head on a rock.

Justin: “What, why’s it beating itself up?”

Sierra: “Because its under the effect of Sweet Kiss.”

Lindsay: “Now Lumineon finish it off with Silver Wind!”

So Lumineon fired another special attack at Torterra while it was distracted and that was that.

Chef Hatchet: “Torterra is unable to battle, Lumineon’s the winner. Which means the victory goes to Lindsay!”

(The audience cheers)

Lindsay: “I won? I won! Yay!”

Heather: “She won?”

Chris McLean: “She won? I mean she won! Unbelievable, Lindsay has defeated Trent which means she moves on to the semi-finales!”

Beth: “Woo-hoo! Way to go Lindsay!”

Tyler: “Yeah, that’s my girl!”

Katie: “Aw, Trent lost.”

Sadie: “Well Lindsay’s are friend too right?”

Katie: “Oh yeah, I forgot.”

Gwen: “Sighs, oh well.”

Trent: (Recalls Torterra to its Pokeball) “You did great Torterra and we did give it our all. You take a nice long rest.” (Looks at Gwen as she blushes at him.)

Chris McLean: “Well trainers that’s a wrap for today, but we’ll be back tomorrow for the match I know you all have been waiting for… Heather vs Gwen!”

Heather: “I know I’VE been looking forward to it.”

Gwen: “Don’t look too smug Heather, I’ve been waiting for this moment WAY long before you have.”

Heather: “Whatever, I look forward to crushing you tomorrow.”

Gwen: “Funny, I was just about to say the same thing about YOU.”

(They both glare at each other face to face full of rage and determination)
