Total Drama Pokemon Battle Tournament - Part 14

**Round 4, Part 2**

So Lindsay presented her next Pokémon, revealing to be Lumineon as it entered the water.

Trent: “So she’s using Lumineon?”

Beth: “Oh that’s a really good choice!”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Alejandro: “Alright since Fire attacks won’t work in this case, I’ll just have to improvise. Now Darmanitan use Hyper Beam at the water!”

As Darmanitan readied to fire, Lindsay quickly shouted…

Lindsay: “Lumineon dive!”

Lumineon dove deep into the water as Darmanitan fired its Hyper Beam, causing an enormous splash of water. But Lumineon wasn’t knocked out of there as it remerged from the bottom much to everyone’s surprise.

Alejandro: “Impossible!”

Heather: “What?”

Beth: “Yeah, go Lindsay!”

Tyler: “That’s my girl!”

Lindsay: “Alright Lumineon let’s show them what you’re really made of. Now use Captivate!”

Suddenly there was a strange look in Lumineon’s eyes as they glowed and caused Darmanitan to be hypnotized as it began walking towards the water.

Alejandro: “Darmanitan what are doing?”

Chris McLean: “Uh-oh folks, Darmanitan can’t hear Alejandro’s command. And it looks like its about to walk right into…

(Splash!)

Darmanitan quickly regain focus as it struggled in the water unable to swim and since it was a Fire Type matters were just getting worse.

Lindsay: “Lumineon now use Whirlpool!”

Lumineon then began to swim circles around Darmanitan as it formed a large whirlpool that caught Darmanitan inside then Lindsay quickly ordered Lumineon to finish it off with Hidden Power. That final attack resulted in a major chain reaction, which sent Darmanitan flying out of the water as it hit the ground face first. The match was over.

Chef Hatchet: “Darmanitan is unable to battle, Lumineon wins!”

(Everyone cheers for Lindsay)

Gwen: “Looks like you’ll be the one who’ll be ponying up?”

Heather: “Do I know you?”

(Alejandro recalls Darmanitan to its Pokeball)

Alejandro: “As impressive as that was, no one pulls one over on Alejandro Burromuerto. Now Flareon I need your help!”

(Flareon appears)

LeShawna: “Seriously? Oh well let’s just see how this turns out.”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Lindsay: “Lumineon use Water Gun!”

(Lumineon fires)

Alejandro: “Dodge it! (Flareon dodges) Now use Smog!”

Flareon then shot a toxic gas from its mouth, but Lumineon quickly dove into the water to protect itself from the toxic fumes. Then Lindsay had it use Captivate while it was hiding under water.

Pretty soon the smog cleared as Flareon began to walk towards the water.

Gwen: “Looks like another lose for Alejandro?”

Courtney: “No kidding.”

But when Flareon fell into the water, it wasn’t struggling as much as Darmanitan. Since its body wasn’t lit up with fire it managed to keep itself a float, but that wasn’t going to stop Lindsay.

Lindsay: “Okay Lumineon now use Whirlpool again!”

As Lumineon began to swim around creating a whirlpool that began to suck Flareon in it. Alejandro looked surprisingly satisfied, just then he shouted…

Alejandro: “Use Overheat!”

Lindsay: “Huh?”

Suddenly Flareon’s body began to give off a heat wave that caused the water to become hot, pretty soon it started boiling and Lumineon began to feel a bit weak.

Beth: “So THAT’S what Alejandro was planning.”

Owen: “ Cool… In a sneaky sort of way.”

Heather: “Yep, that’s my Alejandro.”

Lindsay: “Lumineon return!”

(Lindsay recalls Lumineon to its Pokeball as Flareon comes back out on land)

Alejandro: “Impressive work Flareon, though after that you could use some rest.” (Recalls Flareon to its Pokeball)

Chris McLean: “I’ll admit folks, I did NOT see any of that coming. But hey, a victory’s a victory. Anyway, what Pokémon will out competitors use next?”

Lindsay: “Pelipper let’s go!”

(Pelipper appears)

Alejandro: “Now Typhlosion assist!”

(Typhlosion appears)

Noah: “Well this should good.”

Owen: “Except I’m out of snacks, be right back.”

(Owen leaves)

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Alejandro: “Typhlosion use Flame Thrower!”

(Typhlosion fires its flame)

Lindsay: “Dodge it!”

(Pelipper dodges)

Lindsay: “Now use Water Gun!”

(Pelipper fires a direct hit)

Lindsay: “Alright!”

Heather: “Oh come on!”

Lindsay: “Now use Wing Attack!”

Pelipper then came flying in with its wings glowing, when Alejandro shouted…

Alejandro: “Use Defense Curl!”

Typhlosion then rolled up into a tight ball just as Pelliper fired its Wing Attack, but Typhlosion wasn’t affected.

Bridgette: “Oh I hate it when that happens!”

DJ: “You have to admit it’s a pretty affective defense?”

Geoff: “I hear that dude.”

(DJ and Geoff fist bump)

Just then Typhlosion unrolled itself.

Lindsay: “Now Pelipper use Blizzard!”

Pelipper then fired a blizzard of snow from its mouth, while it did prove affective on Typhlosion. Until Alejandro shouted…

Alejandro: “Use Gyro Ball!”

Typhlosion then rolled back up and began to spin around in a ball as it began to give off a bright glowing ring and just then it charged at Pelipper as it knocked it right out of the air.

Chef Hatchet: “Pelipper is unable to battle, Typhlosion wins!”

Owen: “I’m back, what’d I miss? (Quickly sees the match is over) Oh, never mind.”

(Lindsay recalls Pelipper to its Pokeball)

Lindsay: “Okay, there is no way I’m losing this for my friends. Now Sealeo I need you!”

(Sealeo appears)

Alejandro: “Well now this should be interesting.”

(Typhlosion looks at Sealeo with an intimidating look)

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Alejandro: “Now Typhlosion use Double-Edge!”

Typhlosion then charged at Sealeo, when Lindsay shouted…

Lindsay: “Use Defense Curl!”

Sealeo rolled into a tight ball to protect itself, just as Typhlosion attacked and accidently knocked Sealeo into the water.

Lindsay: “Alright, now use Surf!”

Heather: “What?”

Gwen: “Oh boy.”

Sealeo then remerged out of the water on a giant wave as Lindsay told it to jump off and use Brine. As the wave hit Typhlosion, Sealeo then rammed it in the head using Brine, which resulted in an even bigger splash. Typhlosion was completely soaked and unable to battle, as it laid unconscious and Sealeo landed back in the water.

Chef Hatchet: “Typhlosion is unable to battle, Sealeo wins!”

Chris McLean: “Whoa, now that I did not see coming.”

Cody: “She beat Typhlosion?”

Sierra: “And Typhlosion was Alejandro’s best Pokémon.”

Tyler: “That’s my girl! You make me proud Lindsay!”

Heather: “Can anyone shut him up?”

Bridgette: “Maybe.”

LeShawna: “But we don’t want to.”

Alejandro: (Recalls Typhlosion to its Pokeball as he looks at Lindsay full of rage) “That’s it no more Mr. Nice guy, Flareon I need your help once more!”

(Flareon reappears)

Trent: “So he’s using Flareon again?”

Gwen: “Yeah, but the jokes on him this time.”

Trent: “Well maybe, but let’s just see how this turns out.”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!

Lindsay: “Okay Sealeo use Hydro Pump!”

(Sealeo shoots a blast of water from its mouth)

Flareon quickly dodged the attack, and then Alejandro had it follow up with Hyper Beam. As Flareon fired Hyper Beam, the force from the blast knocked Sealeo right out of the water and back onto land and since Flareon was a Fire Type Lindsay couldn’t have Sealeo use its ice attacks.

Katie: “This is getting seriously intense.”

Sadie: “I know right? And I still don’t know who to root for?”

Alejandro: “Now that it’s on land it’ll be easy for me to attack. Now Flareon use Smog!”

Flareon then shot out another toxic smoke from its mouth, which really bothered Sealeo making it weaker.

Chris McLean: “Oh things aren’t looking good for Lindsay. Even though she still has 2 more Pokémon what will she do steak it out or substitute with another?”

Lindsay: “What’ll I do? What’ll I do?”

Alejandro: “Now to wrap this up. Flareon use Lava Plume!”

So Flareon readied to fire one the most powerful Fire Type moves, just then Lindsay remembered something…

Lindsay: Wait that’s it! Now Sealeo use Brine!”

As Flareon fired Lava Plume at Sealeo; Sealeo then used its special attack to absorb the energy from Lava Plume and fired right back at Flareon, however as it did Alejandro commanded Flareon to use Protect. Pretty soon there was a big boom and when the dust cleared both Pokémon were unable to battle.

Chef Hatchet: “Whoa… I mean both Pokémon are unable to battle!”

Izzy: “Whoa… He-he now THAT was awesome!”

Chris McLean: “Well folks with Alejandro only having one Pokémon left can he turn it around? Normally I’d say yes, but in this case I seriously doubt it.”

(Both Lindsay and Alejandro recall their Pokémon)

Now Alejandro was REALLY mad, even though he DID only have one Pokémon left he refused to lose to someone like Lindsay. This time was determined to get down and dirty.

Alejandro: “I refuse to lose this match and I will win one way or another, now Magcargo come on out!”

(Magcargo appears)

Lindsay: “Well looks like it’s all up to you? (Kisses the Pokeball) Come on out Lumineon!”

(Lumineon reappears)

Chris McLean: “Okay folks, if Lindsay wins this battle she and Gwen will be facing off in the grand finale.”

Eva: “Well this should be quick.”

DJ: “I wouldn’t be so sure?”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Lindsay: “Lumineon use Water Gun!”

(Lumineon fires water from its mouth)

Alejandro: “Harden!”

(Magcargo hardened itself as Water gun hit)

Trent: “Whoa, its not even scathed?”

Alejandro: “Now use Ancient Power!”

Lindsay: “Swim Away!”

Lumineon was able to swim away just as Ancient Power hit the water, then it resurfaced.

Lindsay: “Alright, now let’s have some fun. Lumineon use Double Team!”

Pretty soon there were more Lumineon in the water. But that wasn’t about to stop Alejandro.

Alejandro: “Only one way to settle this situation, use Ember!”

So Magcargo fired dozens of flaming needles at every one of the Lumineons, only to find that the real one was none of them.

Courtney: “What? None of them were real?”

Alejandro: “Impossible’”

Lindsay: “Now use Soak!”

By catching Magcargo off guard Lumineon was able to get it wet, but it also made it really mad.

Geoff: “Whoa, awesome sneak attack!”

DJ: “Maybe, but I think Alejandro thinks otherwise?”

Alejandro: “Sneaky, unfortunately I don’t like it when that happens to me. Now use Earth Power!”

Suddenly Magcargo began to cause the ground to shake, which created a crack that caused Lumineon to go flying out of the water.

Alejandro: “Now use Rock Throw!”

Magcargo then lifted 3 rocks out of the ground and fired them at Lumineon as it fell back into the water.

Lindsay: “Lumineon!”

Chris McLean: “Uh-oh, that might be it folks?”

Lindsay: “Come on Lumineon use recover!”

But there was nothing coming out if the water.

Heather: “Well looks like that’s it? All that’s left id for Alejandro to defeat Vaporeon and then tomorrow he’ll defeat you Gwen.”

Gwen: “Wait look!”

Just then Lumineon resurfaced, having been able to recover.

Lindsay: “Alright Lumineon, now use Attract!”

The next thing everyone knew, Magcargo was hopelessly in love with Lumineon, which allowed Lumineon to attack with Hidden Power, which shockingly ended the battle.

Chef Hatchet: “Magcargo is unable to battle, Lumineon wins! Which means Lindsay’s the winner!”

Lindsay: “Yay! We did it, we did it, WE DID IT!”

(The audience and TD Gang cheer for Lindsay)

Tyler: “Now THAT’S my girlfriend!”

Beth: “She sure made us proud!”

LeShawna: “You got that right!”

Beth: “Oh you have no idea.” (Looks at Heather with delight)

Courtney: “Lindsay won Heather, which means YOU owe them here 5 dollars each.”

Heather: “Sigh, whatever.”

Chris McLean: “I know folks, I’m just as surprised as you are? But hey at least we now know who’ll be facing off against in the finals tomorrow. So get some rest folks, because you won’t want to miss it!”

Alejandro: “But… I… How did… I was… Wow, she IS good. Maybe she’s not as clueless as I would have suspected?”

So later that day Lindsay and Alejandro took their Pokémon to the Pokémon Center where Nurse Joy looked over each one of them.

Nurse Joy: “Okay, all Pokémon are taken care of.”

Lindsay: “Thank you Nurse Joy.”

Nurse Joy: “I must say you both worked them pretty hard today.”

Lindsay: “I know right? But hey great match out there Alejandro.”

Alejandro: “Yes, indeed. And I must admit you did give me one impressive battle today. Perhaps you have more skills than you think?”

Lindsay: “Gee thanks, oh and a double thanks for the 5 dollars.”

Alejandro: “Yes, I really wish you wouldn’t remind me.”

Heather: “Uh Hello? What about me?”

Alejandro: “Perhaps we can talk about this over dinner?”

Heather: “Sighs, you’re lucky you’re cute.”

Alejandro: “I know right?”

(Heather and Alejandro leave, with their arms locked together)

Gwen: “Well Lindsay looks like its you and me tomorrow.”

Lindsay: “Totally, you as excited as I am because I am SO excited!”

Gwen: “Yeah, I can see that.”

Trent: “Hey Gwen, I just wanted to wish you good luck tomorrow.”

Gwen: “Uh… Okay sure, thanks.”

Trent: “No problem, I’ll see you tomorrow.”

Gwen: “Wait! Can I have a word with you outside?”

Trent: “Uh, yeah sure okay?”

So the 2 of them went outside behind the Pokémon Center.

Trent: “Okay, so what’s going on?”

Gwen: “Why did you get involved with that bet we made against Heather and Alejandro?”

Trent: “Well I don’t know? I guess I just miss the old times we had, you know like when we used to hang out together?”

Gwen: “Really? Wait I thought you were seeing other girls?”

Trent: “I was, but I didn’t like any of them. I guess it had something to do with this.”

(Trent reveals he’s been wearing Gwen’s necklace she gave him in Season 2)

When Gwen saw she didn’t know what to say.

Gwen: “You’ve kept it? All this time?”

Trent: “I never take it off. I always wear it, even when I battle.”

Gwen smiled as her eyes began to sparkle and tear up a bit, when she said…

Gwen: “Trent… I don’t know what to say?”

Trent: “I think I do.”

The 2 of them leaned in as the sun was setting and they kissed and hugged finally and happily back together again and this time it was forever. But now the only remaining question was…
