Total Drama Pokemon Battle Tournament - Part 8

**Round 2, Part 5**

It was only 10 minutes till the next match and Courtney and Lindsay were at the Pokémon Center, just getting their Pokémon back.

Nurse Joy: “Okay, your Pokémon are all done.”

Lindsay: “Thanks Nurse Joy.”

Nurse Joy: “No problem, you girls battled great out there.”

Lindsay: “Thanks, sorry that you lost Courtney.”

Courtney: (Looking at Lindsay annoyed) “Yeah, too bad.”

(Courtney walks away)

Tyler: “Oh don’t mind her Babe. She’s just being a sore loser.”

Lindsay: (Blushing) “Thanks Tyler.”

Meanwhile, Gwen was looking at them still feeling a bit sorry for herself.”

Bridgette: “Hey Gwen!”

Gwen: “Aagh!”

Bridgette: “Sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you.”

Gwen: “Oh, hey Bridgette.”

Bridgette: “Are you okay?”

Gwen: “Sigh, I don’t know? I just got back from my walk with Trent and seeing Lindsay with Tyler over there made me think…”

Bridgette: “Wait, do you still have feelings for Trent?”

Gwen: “Well…”

Trent: “Hey guys! What are you talking about?”

Gwen: “Uh, nothing. Thanks for that walk and good luck in your match!”

Trent: “Oh uh, sure no problem.” (Looks at the time) “OH SHOOT! My match starts in 5 minutes, come on you guys!”

(Trent leaves)

Gwen: “Okay, we’ll be right there!” (Face palm)

Pretty soon everyone was at the stadium ready for the next match between Trent and Izzy. Trent was facing left and Izzy was facing right, then Chris Came out and said…

Chris McLean: “Welcome to Match 5 of Round 2 of the Total Drama Pokémon Battle Tournament!”

(The Audience cheers)

Chris McLean: “Our next match features everyone’s favorite musician Trent facing off against Crazy Girl Izzy! Whoever wins this match moves on to Round 3, so without further ado let the match BEGIN!”

(The Audience cheers some more)

Trent: “Alright, Kingler let’s go!”

(Kingler appears)

Izzy: “Izzy’s ready to get it on! Blastoise, come on out!”

(Blastoise appears)

Bridgette: “So it’s a battle between 2 Water Types?”

Geoff: “Man, they’re both so strong I don’t know who I think will win?”

Beth: “I guess we’ll have to wait and see?”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Kingler use Metal Claw!”

Suddenly, Kingler’s claw hardened as it lunged at Blastoise. But then…

Izzy: “Blastoise use Ice Beam!”

Just then, there was a powerful beam that came shooting from Blastoise mouth and froze Kingler’s claw.

Trent: “What the?”

Beth: “Its frozen!”

Chris McLean: “Whoa, that’s not good… For Trent at least.”

Izzy: “Alright Blastoise use Water Gun!”

As Blastoise shot 2 powerful blasts of water from the guns on its back, Trent quickly commanded Kingler to use Harden. And when Water Gun hit Kingler, its body was solid as stone and it barley even budged.

Heather: “What? But that’s impossible?”

Alejandro: “I must say Trent’s raised his Kingler very well I might add.”

Gwen: “Yeah, totally.” (Looks dreamy eyed)

Kingler then broke the ice from its claw, when Trent cried out…

Trent: “Alright Kingler, use Bubble Beam!”

Just as a stream of bubbles came shooting from Kingler’s mouth, Izzy commanded Blastoise to use Rapid Spin. As Blastoise continued to spin around the battlefield Izzy commanded it to use Hydro Pump and pretty soon there was water coming out it a spinning fast manor, causing Kingler to get hit what felt like a large sprinkler. Then finally Izzy told Blastoise to finish it off with Body Slam, where Blastoise’s body jumped into the air and landed on Kingler, ending the battle.

Chef Hatchet: Kingler is unable to battle, Blastoise is the winner!”

Chris McLean: “Oh, that’s gonna leave a mark! But hey, what do you expect from someone like Izzy?”

Izzy: “Oh yeah!”

Lindsay: “Wow, that battle was quick?”

Alejandro: “Personally I’m not too surprised. I mean the outcome WAS pretty predictable.”

Trent: “Kingler return!”

As Trent recalled Kingler to it’s Pokeball, he looked up and saw Gwen smiling and waving at him. So he smiled at her and was ready to give it his all, once again.

Lindsay: “Were you just smiling at Trent?”

Gwen: “Uh… No.”

Lindsay: (Gasps) “OMG, you still like him don’t you?”

Gwen didn’t know what to say, so she just turned away leaving Lindsay unsure.

Trent: “Alright, he goes nothing. Marowak let’s go!”

(Marowak appears)

Beth: “Why’s he using Marowak? Don’t Water Types have the advantage over Ground Types?”

Bridgette: “I know, I guess Trent’s got some sort of strategy, I hope?”

Owen: “Let’s go Izzy! Woo-Hoo!”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Izzy: “Alright Blastoise use Hydro Pump!”

Suddenly there were 3 blast of water that came shooting out of Blastoise’s mouth and canons. But Trent quickly ordered Marowak to jump into the air and dodge it and so it did, then he shouted…

Trent: “Use Bonemerang!”

And without hesitation, while Marowak was in mid-air it threw it’s bone as hard as it could and hit Blastoise in the head.

DJ: “Oh, that’s gotta hurt?”

Chris McLean: “Wow folks! Now that’s what I call a Sneak Attack!”

Izzy: “Whoa, he-he very clever. But not clever enough, now use Bubble Beam!”

As a powerful stream of bubbles came shooting out of Blastoise’s mouth, Trent ordered Marowak to use Focus Energy! Marowak shot out a powerful ball of energy that when it collided with Blastoise’s Bubble Beam it caused a powerful explosion. Surprisingly neither Pokémon was scathed.

Chris McLean: “How do you like that? Their still standing!”

Heather: “What, seriously?”

Gwen: “Oh yeah.” (Smiling at Trent)

Izzy: “Izzy isn’t going down like this. Now Blastoise use Water Gun!”

As Blastoise shot a powerful blast of water came shooting out of Blastoise’s cannons Trent quickly shouted…

Trent: “Use Bone Club to divert it!”

Marowak quickly held up its Bone Club and when the water hit Bone Club was used to steer the water away from itself. Everyone was amazed at what they were seeing.

Heather: “What? It’s using its bone to divert the water?”

Harold: “Awesome!”

Trent: “Alright Marowak, while it’s distracted use Focus Energy at its head!”

Marowak immediately followed up with Focus Energy and hit Blastoise in the head.

Izzy: “Gasp!”

Trent: “All right!”

Chris McLean: “Whoa! Folks I don’t believe what I just saw, but THAT was an amazing sneak attack!”

Trent: “Okay Marowak let’s finish this up with Bonemerang!”

Marowak quickly threw its bone and hit Blastoise in the head again, but this time it got knocked out and the battle was over.

Chef Hatchet: “Blastoise is unable to battle, Marowak wins!”

Chris McLean: “Unbelievable folks! Through an unexpected turn of events Marowak was to defeat Blastoise!”

Beth: “Wow, what an impressive strategy?”

Lindsay: “How did he do that?”

Tyler: “I don’t know, but I got to learn that move myself.”

(Gwen continues to smile with interest)

Izzy recalled Blastoise to its Pokeball and then selected her next Pokémon.

Izzy: “Alright, here goes nothing… Come on out Gliscor!”

(Gliscor appears)

Trent: “Marowak return!” (Marowak returns to its Pokeball) “Okay so Gliscor’s a Flying and Ground Type? I know… Alright, Torterra let’s go!”

(Torterra appears)

Alejandro: “So it’s a battle between 2 Pokémon who are part ground Type? How interesting?”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Izzy: “Gliscor use Night Slash!”

Gliscor’s claw glowed bright purple, then threw a dark slash streak at Torterra, who ended up countering it with Safeguard as a protective barrier covered its body.

Izzy: “What the? Hmm impressive, but Izzy’s got a few more tricks up her sleeve. Now use Sky Upper-Cut!”

Gliscor quickly flew into the air and came flying down ready to attack, when Trent ordered…

Trent: “Torterra, use Leaf Storm!”

Suddenly, Torterra generated a tornado of leaves that caused Gliscor to get caught in as it began to spin around uncontrollably. Once Leaf Storm started to die down Trent shouted…

Trent: “Now use Energy Ball!”

And Torterra shot a powerful ball of energy directly at Gliscor, causing it to fall to the ground.

Chef Hatchet: “Gliscor is unable to battle, Torterra wins!”

Chris McLean: “Well that was fast… I mean, what a surprise folks? Looks like Izzys down to her final Pokémon, which will it be?”

Izzy: “Whoa, I seriously did NOT see that coming?”

(Izzy recalls Gliscor to its Pokeball)

Owen: “Come on Izzy, you can do it!”

Izzy: “Thanks Owen! All right, say hello to my little friend. Ursaring come out!”

(Ursaring appears)

Lindsay: “So Ursaring’s a Normal Type right?”

Alejandro: “Indeed, though in this case it will be hard to tell who has the advantage?”

Noah: “Who cares? This is getting good.”

Chef Hatchet: “Ready… And… GO!”

Trent: “Alright Torterra use Razor Leaf!”

As Torterra shot dozens of spinning leaves towards Urasring, Izzy ordered it to stand it’s ground. Ursaring stood in place and crossed its arms as it began getting hit with Razor Leaf. When Torterra finally stopped, Ursaring revealed to be still standing and it was barely scathed. Everyone was shocked!

Heather: “What, how is that possible?”

Alejandro: “I must say Izzy’s trained her Urasring very well to with stand an attack from Razor Leaf and still standing?”

Izzy: “Alright Ursaring use Shadow Ball!”

Ursaring then shot out a powerful ball of dark energy towards Torterra, but it countered it with Energy Ball and when the 2 balls of energy collided they exploded and caused a shower of sparkles.

Lindsay: “Oh, pretty.”

Noah: “Seriously, this again?”

Chris McLean: “Wow impressive, like we haven’t seen that move a million times?”

Trent: (To himself) “Maybe, but they haven’t seen this yet… Torterra, now use Leach Seed!”

Torterra then shot out a green seed that hit Ursaring in the chest and suddenly a set of vines wrapped around Ursaring’s body, draining its energy. But just when Trent thought he had Ursaring right where he wanted it, Izzy commanded it to rip free using Hammer Arm and Metal Claw.

Trent: “Whoa!”

Cody: “Okay now that’s what I call strength.”

DJ: “Ditto man.”

Chris McLean: “Oh this looks like trouble for our buddy Trent?”

Izzy: “Alright, now to show what we’re really made of… Ursaring attack using Quick Attack and Hammer Arm again!”

So Ursaring charged towards Torterra, but it wasn’t backing down so easily. Trent immediately commanded Torterra to use Razor Leaf again, but Ursaring kept dodging everyone until it hit Torterra in the head.

Geoff: “Oh, that’s gotta hurt?”

Gwen: “Come on Trent, don’t give up!”

Owen: “Go Izzy! No offense Trent!”

Trent: “None taken Big Guy!”

Izzy: “Alright, Izzy’s got it in the bag now. Ursaring finish it off with Take Down and Metal Claw!”

Trent: “What, another combo move?”

Katie: “Oh no, Torterra’s in trouble!”

Sadie: “I can’t look!” (Covers her eyes)

Trent: “I ain’t giving up yet, Torterra counter it with Double-Edge!”

So Torterra charged at Ursaring as IT was charging back, when suddenly… KA-RASH! Both Pokémon collided in a large cloud of dust, but no one could tell whom one?
